The Coronas have asked us to support them for one night of their Olympia Dates. We have been locked away for weeks writing our new album and decided we would take a one day break to show off our new line up! It will be a great show all round and with main support from The Kanyu Tree we can’t wait to do our thing and then find a good seat for the rest of the night!

Thanks again to everyone for the support over the last few weeks!

Our Sad News and Our first new Single!

After an extremely hectic 2011, Miracle Bell would like to announce that Dave has decided it’s time for him to make the difficult decision and leave the band. After dedicating the past six years of his life to Miracle Bell, he feels he cant commit to what promises to be a busy and productive 2012 so he’s moving on with non musical projects.

‘We are going to miss having Dave in the band. The three of us are obviously great friends and that won’t change. Dave didn’t feel he was cut out for moving forward with Miracle Bell. It was a big decision for him to make and we’re sure he will do great in whatever he chooses to do in the future . Myself and Riggers are more determined than ever for Miracle Bell to succeed . I’m really proud of everything we have done so far and we will be back in 2012 stronger than ever with our new record’ (John B)

This is certainly not the end of Miracle Bell, and with John Broe taking over lead vocals, the guy’s would like to present their brand new single ‘FlashBackHome’ which is currently available as a FREE download from www.miraclebell.com and can also be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4sBwBgLdYk

Miracle Bell have big plans for 2012 with a new record and extensive tour in the pipeline, and the guy’s would like to take this opportunity to thank all the fans for all the love and support they’ve shown, and hopefully will continue to show.

They have one last  surprise up their sleeves for 2011 – keep an eye on their website and/or facebook page for updates (www.facebook.com/MiracleBell) over the coming days.

Writing, Writing, Writing, Gigging, Writing!!!

Sep

After our brief but enjoyable escape from hibernation over the weekend to play two shows with The Kanyu Tree and Bipolar Empire respectively, we’re back in the warm surroundings of our writing room.

Big thanks to everyone who came out and danced, sang (and moshed) in Dolans and Whelans. It was an extremely nice break from writing.

But we’re back now, putting together loads of material for what will be our second record. Its been a very different experience to writing the first but the results are way above what we’d even hoped for.

We can’t wait to start playing them live so that you can hopefully enjoy them as much as us.

On the gig front, we will be back out on the road at the beginning of October  with a few dates including a show in the Grand Social as part of Hard Working Class Heroes 2011.

Here’s where you can catch us:

October 1st – Dolans Warehouse (Co-headline with Jody Has A Hitlist) ALL AGES

October 6th – GMIT Freshers Week (w/ Bipolar Empire and Riptide Movement)

October 7th – Grand Social (Hard Working Class Heroes Festival)

November 4th – Academy 2 (ALL AGES) Tickets on sale NOW!

Happy Birthday Tower Records

Aug

We’ll be helping Tower Records Dublin celebrate their 18th birthday in style by performing on August 18th along with 8 other brilliant Irish acts. We’ll be playing at 7pm, so see ye there!

“Well, its here, we’re 18. Its almost hard to believe, as all the other Tower’s around the globe have fallen, Dublin’s branches have remained, and hopefully we will continue to do so for another 18 years. As I’m sure you can tell, we like a party here in Tower Records, and our 18th bash will aim to party harder than ever. On Thursday the 18th of August [see what we did there?] we’ll be getting things started early when Michelle Doherty of Phantom 105.2 broadcasts her show, Finest Worksongs, live from the store which will be swiftly followed by nine, no less, instore performances throughout the day. We will also have a few little treats for all our customers but what exactly we have planned will remain our little surprise, for now.”
